Be advised that as part of the admissions process, you will be asked to submit a completed confidential financial certification (downloadable from the 'requirements' link on the sidebar) and a current statement issued by your banking institution, denoting the amount of available funds to support your educational expenses.

Financial status is an important factor in determining your eligibility for enrollment. Because Cal Poly does not provide financial aid or scholarships to international undergraduate students, and only on a limited basis to international graduate students, it is vital that international students can show the ability to (1) pay their educational expenses or (2) have their expenses paid for by a sponsor.

Also be aware that work opportunities in San Luis Obispo are limited and subject to entrance visa regulation. Applicants should not count on a job to offset any of the expenses outlined above.

*Please note that your financial requirement will increase $5,000 for a spouse and $3,000 per dependent.
