International Admissions

As part of the California State University (CSU) system, Cal Poly must assess the academic preparation of international students. For this purpose, 'international students' include those who hold US visas as students, exchange visitors, or those in other nonimmigrant classifications. The CSU uses separate requirements and application filing dates in the admission of international students.

Please read the information contained in this section, thoroughly, to aid in preparing your online application for admission to Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Use the links on the left to access info about REQUIREMENTS, DEADLINES and the international BUDGET.

Important Note: Cal Poly does not accept applications for undergraduate transfer students with less than 60 transferable semester units (90 transferable quarter units) OR applications for second Bachelors degrees.
